Ryan drakeley
President
A Senior from Philadelphia, Ryan has dedicated 3 years to High Point University's College Democrats as a compassionate leader. Ryan has assumed the role of President after previously serving as Community Outreach Director & Vice President. He is pursuing a degree in Marketing, yet thoroughly enjoys Technology, Sports, Camping, Reading, and of course... Politics!

Abigail knudson
Vice President
A Junior from California, she is majoring in International Relations and minoring in Spanish. Abigail is currently Interning at World Relief, as she is committed to aiding Refugees in our community. Also a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and Young Life, Abigail maintains her passions throughout her college experience.

Douglas Mathis
SGA Representative
A native of San Antonio, Texas, Douglas is proudly serving as our 2019 SGA Rep! A freshman majoring in Political Science, he began his involvement in the High Point Community early with memberships in Black Student Union, Leadership Fellows and Phi Alpha Delta. His main passions include politics, history and basketball.

Dalton Lucas
Membership Director
A Freshman from Wallburg, North Carolina, Dalton is extremely devoted to the High Point University community. A political science major, he began his professional experience as the personal assistant for Chris Hurst, Delegate, Virginia. Also, was a grassroots volunteer for Hillary For America and NextGen Fellow. On campus, he is an advocate of our community as an SGA Senator, Bonner Leader and Bed Brigade Intern. Dalton's personal interests include traveling, and of course, politics!

Gia Scirrotto
Secretary
Gia is an energetic and passionate sophomore from Florida. As a Political Science and Philosophy major, Gia is truly committed to changing the future of politics. An Intern for Kathy Manning during the 2018 MidTerm elections, Gia continually proves her devotion to our cause. On campus, she is also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, Phi Alpha Delta and is a First Year Navigator for incoming HPU freshman.
